Exceeding all glossy picture-postcard expectations, Santorini’s stunning beauty is splendidly breathtaking. The small island cradles a rich variety of landscapes, culture, villages, and colors. Explore one of the unique black or red sand beaches or just sit back and take in the endless views and colorful sunsets.
Most famous for its Caldera and breathtaking sunset, Santorini also offers its visitors relaxation, exquisite dining, adventure, archaeology and nightlife. On the west side of Santorini, you will find towering cliffs with small whitewashed traditional houses that seem to tower over the sea below. Take in the beautiful views with a glass of wine from one of the many local vineyards, while enjoying an exquisite meal at one of the numerous restaurants.
On both the southern and eastern coast of Santorini, the eruptions of the Santorini volcano created beautiful beaches with colorful sands. The most famous Santorini beaches are the Red Beach and the White Beach near Akrotiri, and the very long stretch of black sand beaches, starting from Perivolos Beach and ending as Monolithos Beach.
